The Greater Boston Young Republicans (GBYRs) is a group of young,
Boston-area professionals aged 18 to 40, who are interested in political
activism and networking with like-minded individuals. The Greater Boston Young
Republicans hold monthly meetings and socials, volunteer for local community
service projects and participate in local and national Republican campaigns.
GBYRs
are involved as campaign managers, treasurers and the like for local Republican
candidates, are officials within the Massachusetts Republican party and are
candidates themselves. Many GBYRs go on to become elected officials and leaders
within the Republican party. Networking within the GBYRs provides members the
opportunity to meet Republican officials and candidates and get experience
working on political campaigns.
The
GBYRs are a part of the statewide YR organization, the Massachusetts Federation
of Young Republicans (MFYR), and the Young Republican National Federation
(YRNF). The YRNF is the nation's oldest and largest youth political society.
